Brant Villeneuve Memorial Scholarship
Brant Villeneuve, passed away in 2004 and was 1 of 3 brothers involved in the YouthQuake Live Cast. His creativity and energy was something that was infectious to all those around him. Brant made an impact with his life through his positive attitude, contagious laugh, and outgoing personality. Each year YQL awards the Brant Memorial Scholarship to a graduating cast member who has gone above and beyond the requirements to be in the cast and has upheld the YQL core values. This scholarship goes toward college education for the recipient. YouthQuake Live Missions Scholarship
Each year YouthQuake Live gives a scholarship to any cast member who will be participating in a summer mission trip. One of our core distinctive is a belief that God wants to and can use teenagers to change the world. And so we grant this scholarship to a youth who has a passion to reach the world while they are young and have shown themselves to be an example for Christ during their time with YouthQuake Live. Our dream is to be able to sponsor multiple teens each year, especially those who have the desire to go, but are not able to raise the money on their own. Testimony from Mission Trip receipiant Rachel Westcott
Because of the Youthquake Live missions scholarship, I was able to go to Panama this summer for a month! So many amazing things happened on my trip. God not only changed the hearts of the people of Panama, but He changed my heart as well! My eyes were really opened to just how ACTIVE God is, as well as how His love has no boundaries. In total, we had 73 new salvations for children, and 16 adults gave their heart to the Lord as well! One of the things that was truly remarkable about taking this trip to Panama was how many miracles we saw. On the island, my ministry group met one lady named Bonapipi. She told us that for four months she had not been able to walk, and that she was beginning to die. We decided right then and there that we were going to pray for her. We laid our hands on her frail legs and prayed that God would begin to heal her. We went back every day to pray for her and to read stories in the Gospel about how God healed people that had faith. Day after day we went back and laid our hands on her. Finally, the last day we were there, we were saying our goodbyes to the village. And do you know who we saw? Bonapipi, out of her hammock within the confines of her small hut, had come out to meet us. She was walking! So many more miracles just like this happened on our time on the island and in the jungle. It just goes to show how much God truly cares about us! I see what God is doing around the world, and I can’t NOT get excited. I love how Youthquake Live supports missions within the cast, even though they could definitely use the money for new mics, or lights, or whatever. I feel truly blessed to be a part of Youthquake, and it is truly a blessing that they have such a heart for the nations!
Testimony from Mission Trip receipiants Grace Workman:
I went to Masaka, Uganda with Okoa Refuge. One of the amazing things I was able to do on my trip was to visit the prison in Masaka. Our whole team went two different times while we were there. We and our translator led them in worship, we were able to share the Gospel and the love of Jesus with them, and pray for all of them individually. It was amazing to see them open to our message and praising God, even though they were in prison. The first time we visited, we prayed for a lot them to have grace with the judge on their court dates, and to be able to go home. When we went back the next week, two of the women had been set free! It was amazing for us and for them to see our prayers answered. God did so many amazing things on my trip, I wish I could share them all!

In the summer of 2008 YQL gave me a scholarship to help pay for my missions trip to Muckachevo, Ukraine. While we were there I was able to use what I learned about leading others into worship, the power of prayer, and leadership. Through morning assemblies, games, English lessons and powerful Bible stories, God opened the eyes and hearts of the children in that city. At the end of the week, when we had a 'call to repentance', nearly every child raised their hand and, with a leader, prayed to accept Jesus as the payment for their sin. And I am greatful to tell you, that they are being discipled by some of the most courageous and zealous christians I have ever met. Glory to GOD! I would encourage anyone to get involved with YouthQuake Live and see what God would teach you through it's ministry. You never know what He's preparing you for. And you should take any chance you get to go on a missions trip. Seeing God do miraculous things will change you perspective, attitude and life. And boy is it worth it! I can't wait to see how God will use me again in Ukraine this summer!
