Applications for the 2011-2012 season will be available April 1st, 2011.
Are you ready to take a public stand for your faith? Do you want a way to reach your friends and community with the gospel? Each year teenagers from all over the city make a one-year commitment to being in the cast of YQL.
Find out if you have what it takes to be in next seasons cast.Online Applications to join the cast of YQL are available April 1st - May 15th of each year for the season which starts in the following school year. To join the cast you will need to complete this application online and then attend our cast placement event which typically occurs in mid May. The exact date and location will be on the application. All new cast members are required to attend.
In addition, you will need to attend the cast retreat which is held around the last week of July or first week in August. After the retreat, regular practices will begin at Christ the Redeemer Church (Palm Valley/Ponte Vedra) from 2-4pm on three to four Sundays a month. Cast members will need to attend the monthly Thursday Dress Rehearsal and Friday YQL Event. A majority of the shows take place the first Friday of the month through the school year. Cast members will be held to a high standard of excellence and godliness as they serve as examples to other youth in the community. Cast members must be an active part of their own church and youth group.
To be in the cast you will need to be in the 8th grade (AND at least 13 years old) through the 12th grade and make a one-year commitment to be in the YQL cast. Those who have graduated high school should visit our internship page for more information. Cast members will need to seriously consider their various time commitments due to the pivotal role each cast member plays. Your attendance at each practice and event is expected.
